★ UNIQUE NEON - vintage japanese nagajuban wool fabric - YUZEN MUSLIN - KANZEMIZU ★
Kanzemizu, which represents the flow of water, is a pattern that symbolizes the future. It shows that the future is constantly changing so that water does not stay in place. It's a good idea to wear future events such as entrance and graduation ceremonies.
Kanzemizu waves are spiral, vortices have no beginning or end, they symbolize perpetuity and immortality. This pattern stands for health and longevity.
Using the method of yuzen, which means ‘pouring dye’, artisans outline designs with special glues and then pour dye onto the cloth. The dye bleeds through the fabric, so multiple layers of cloth can be produced with the same design.
Japanese maple trees have been considered a symbol of grace personified by many Asian cultures for hundreds of years. Associated with peace and serenity of the world's elements, Japanese maple trees represent balance and practicality and are called "kito" in the Japanese language, which means "calm," "rest" or "at peace."
