★ RARE collector piece - Vintage Japanese Sukagawa Dorei bell by Mizushige Kikuchi  - PIG - Inoshishi / Boar ★

In Japanese culture, pigs are associated with good luck, prosperity, and courage. They are also linked to fertility, abundance, and even a sense of recklessness or impetuosity. As a shamanic power animal, pig connects us to Mother Earth, encourages us to let go and enjoy life.

This bell was created by Mizushige Kikuchi, who quit his job in 1970 and opened the Rokumo kiln in Sukagawa. After death of the artist in 1995, it was abolished after one generation.
